2) Rough Sourcing : The initial step involved sourcing the highest quality rough lab-grown diamond was really difficult to choose. Then this 40-carat rough diamond, an 18X18mm pristine example of sustainable luxury, was selected for its potential to be transformed into a masterpiece of unparalleled brilliance and elegance.

3) Designing & Planning : Designing and planning are critical phases in diamond crafting. Our designers meticulously mapped out the best possible cut and shape, ensuring maximum brilliance and fire. This phase laid the groundwork for the diamond’s transformation.

4) Cutting: Cutting the diamond required precision and expertise. Our skilled artisans carefully executed each cut, transforming the rough stone into a semi-polished gem. This phase marked the beginning of the diamond’s transformation.

5) Semi-Polishing: The semi-polishing stage brought out the initial sparkle of the diamond. However, it was just a glimpse of the brilliance that was yet to come. Our team continued to work diligently, refining the diamond’s facets and preparing it for the next crucial steps.

9) Engraving 2nd Failure: During the engraving phase, we faced another challenge. The second attempt did not achieve the desired results, but our team’s resilience and commitment never wavered. We knew success was within reach.

Success on the 3rd Attempt: On the third attempt, after 25 days of relentless effort and determination, we finally achieved success. The Modi Diamond emerged as a magnificent 8-carat gem, showcasing the brilliance and perfection we had envisioned from the start. This triumph was a collective effort, made possible by the dedication of 25-27 skilled artisans who poured their heart and soul into this project.
The previous two attempts had been disheartening setbacks. Each failure brought invaluable lessons, refining our techniques and understanding of the diamond’s unique characteristics.
