Refund policy

At SK DIAM, we prioritize quality and transparency. Due to the high value and sensitive nature of diamonds, we do not offer return or refunds. However, we provide an exchange facility subject to the conditions below.

 


 

1. Exchange Window

  • Exchange requests must be made within 15 days from the date of delivery.

  • All exchange requests are handled case-by-case and subject to approval by SK DIAM.

 


 

2. Eligibility for Exchange

To qualify for an exchange:

  • The diamond must be returned in exactly the same condition as delivered.

  • There must be:

    • No damage, chips, scratches, or cracks

    • No change in carat weight, measurements, or appearance

  • The diamond must be accompanied by:

    • Original packaging

    • Original invoice or proof of purchase

    • Original certification (IGI/GIA or applicable)

 


 

3. Quality Control (QC) Inspection

  • All returned diamonds undergo a strict Quality Control (QC) inspection by SK DIAM.

  • If the diamond passes QC, the exchange will be processed.

Important:
If during QC inspection we find:

  • Damage or wear

  • Mismatch in certificate details

  • Missing or tampered certificate

  • Any alteration or inconsistency

Then:

  • Exchange request will be rejected

  • No refund will be issued

  • No replacement diamond will be provided

The returned item may be sent back to the customer at their cost.

 


 

4. Exchange Process

Once approved, we will provide:

  • Exchange approval confirmation

  • Return instructions

  • Shipping details

Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

 


 

5. Exchange Value

  • Exchanges are allowed for equal or higher value diamonds only.

  • If the new diamond is of higher value, the price difference must be paid by the customer.

  • No cash refunds or credits will be provided for lower-value selections.

 


 

6. Return Shipping Responsibility

  • Return and exchange shipping costs are handled case-by-case.

  • In most cases, shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

 


 

7. Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are not eligible for exchange:

  • Custom-cut or special-order diamonds

  • Diamonds that have been set, mounted, polished, resized, or altered after delivery

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Items returned without certification

 


 

8. International Exchanges

  • International exchange requests are accepted.

  • Customs duties, taxes, and international shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Exchange timelines depend on destination country and customs clearance.

 


 

9. Final Decision

All exchange approvals, QC outcomes, and decisions are final and binding, at the sole discretion of SK DIAM.
